Myspace codes aren't working?

alright, so i want to hide my friends. not one code i use works. i tried hot-lyts.com and freecodesource.com. they don't work. i'll put it in where it's supposed to go, hit save, and it doesn't work. the code is visible in my profile and it doesn't hide my friends. i tried talking to tom but he's always away and i can't send him any mail. what's wrong?
